Running Speech Dispatcher with ALSA?

You could also turn on the option
	Debug 1
in festival.conf and look into
	/var/log/speech-dispatcher/festival.log
for the line
	ERROR: Cannot open audio device
which should give a more detailed reason as reported
by ALSA.
