orca speechd backend

Hello,
I am new on this list.
Since a few days I played a bit with speechd.
The orca driver does produce speech output but there is a big problem
with the keyboard?
After selecting the speechdispatcher backend, I can not close the
settings window any more. 
The used orca version is the latest svn trunk.

Please have a look on this. I could not find the Problem.
This makes the sd backend unusable in orca.
