using sound icons

Hi folks,

I just subscribed to this mailing list, for I am not able to solve all of
my problems concerning speechd-el at the moment and perhaps some of you
guys can help me out :-)

I want to use speechd-el under Debian Etch / stable and installed:

speech dispatcher version 0.6.1
brltty version 3.7.2

and the sound-icons package.

Unfortunately I don't know how to configure speechd to use these sound
icons. Would you please tell me how do use them.
