Update on speech-dispatcher and pulse

Has any progress been made on the SD/Pulse crasher that has been 
reported here a few times? I know there may have been work being done 
around this time, so just wanted to touch base and see if anyone needed 
testers. This is probably the most bothersome bug in my Linux experience 
as of now, especially as I've had to restart SD twice (update: thrice) 
while writing this short message (though admittedly it isn't always 
quite that bad.)
