Default LogPath Seems to be Broken

That would be perfect.  I goofed in my last message where I should
have said LogDir and not LogPath but you caught my drift just the
same.

I would use the same behavior that id done for the LogDir variable in
the conf file.  I think both options should work exactly the same way.
