So my proposition:
if we want the sound generator to be something usable (not only toy), w
should provide in protocol:
1) waveform (triangle/saw/square, sine is not needed as triangle may
safely replace it)
2) frequency pair (start and end)
3) ADSR envelope

Also - generated sounds may be used when sound icons are missing
(especially "capital" icone internally used in SD).
